  • Back for 2019 The Downside is an all high-end model from Kink BMX. The general construction is nothing less than you would expect, with its 100% 4130 chromoly frame, fork, bars, and sealed bearings throughout. The big bars, short backend and sealed rear freecoaster hub mean the Downside is ready for some serious riding. The unique Gloss Raw Gold Flake colorway paired with black forks and bars give this bike a really pro look and feel. When it comes to the components featured on the Redwood, you won't find any compromises. Components like the Kink Bold HRD stem, 2.4" wide Kink Sever tires, and Mission Dispatch freecoaster, start to really set this bike apart. This model also features the tall 9" Kink Grizzly CC bars, Kink Ridge 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks, and two Mission plastic pegs.

BMX BIKE SIZE GUIDE

BMX bikes are measured in two ways, the size of the wheel (20” is the standard BMX Wheel size) and the length of the frame which is gauged by the top tube measurement.

Below is a guide to what size you should be looking for. note there is some overlap in sizes as personal preference also comes into the equation.
