Este nuevo diseño permite un diámetro general más pequeño de PEG y aumenta sustancialmente la rigidez. El núcleo Pleg 2+ corre 3/4 "de la longitud de la manga, por lo que se puede evitar el daño directo al final del núcleo, simplificando la eliminación de la manga y el mantenimiento del ajuste del enchufe.
